The Hallmark Card Rewards program (‘Card Rewards’) is conducted by Hallmark Marketing Company, LLC (‘Hallmark’). This Program may be modified, suspended or canceled and the redemption value of already accumulated cards may be changed at any time without notice and without restriction or penalty.
Membership in Card Rewards requires a free Hallmark.com account and registration, through Hallmark.com or the Card Rewards mobile app or other places made available by Hallmark for registration, using a valid email address. Membership is open to residents of the United States, age 18 and over, excluding employees of Hallmark (including its parents, subsidiaries and affiliates), its Card Rewards agency partners, and the owners and associates of Hallmark Gold Crown stores. Card Rewards memberships are nontransferable and are deemed to be owned by the owner of the email account associated with the membership. An individual may not maintain multiple Card Reward accounts.
Members may earn Reward Credits through the purchase and reporting of eligible Hallmark Card Products (Eligible Cards). Eligible Card purchases may be recorded in the following ways:
Eligible Cards currently include pre-printed individual greeting cards branded Hallmark, Connections from Hallmark, Expressions from Hallmark Expressions and DaySpring from Hallmark (including those sub-branded Shoebox, Sinceramente, Mahogany, Tree of Life, Innovations, Saturdays) (collectively “Hallmark cards” or “cards from Hallmark”). Qualifying Hallmark Card Products also include printed single quantity greeting cards from Hallmark.com and Hallmark’s Go Cards app.
Products and brands not specifically listed are not eligible for inclusion in the Card Rewards program (e.g., products such as invitations, multiple card packs, cello-packs, stationery, boxed cards, multiple quantity greeting cards from Hallmark.com; and brands such as DaySpring, Ambassador, Image Arts, Sunrise and Hallmark Business Expressions). Eligible Cards also do not include cards printed on demand or delivered through third parties, such as, but not limited to, Shutterfly, TinyPrints, Walgreens, Walmart or CVS.
Only cards purchased by the Member may be reported. Card UPC codes, or other indicia used to report Eligible Card purchases, may not be shared.
For each five (5) Eligible Cards purchased and reported, Hallmark will apply one (1) Reward Credit to your Card Rewards account, subject to a monthly limit of 4 Reward Credits and a calendar year limit of 24 Reward Credits. Reward Credits are computed on a monthly basis (determined by the account posting of an Eligible Card, not the purchase date), and applied to your account within 10 days of the end of the month. Cards not converted to Reward Credits at the end of a month will be carried over to the following month, subject to a four (4) card maximum (e.g., 8 cards were reported, 5 were redeemed for a Reward Credit leaving 3 cards to be carried over to the next month).
There is a limit of 4 Reward Credits per Member per calendar month, and a maximum total of 24 Reward Credits per Member per calendar year. Eligible Cards reported in excess of 20 in one calendar month will not be carried over to the following month and any reported cards in excess of 120 cards in a calendar year will not be carried over into a subsequent year.
Each Reward Credit must be redeemed within two calendar months of issuance (e.g., Reward Credits issued on January 10 will not be valid after March 9). Reward Credits must be redeemed by midnight, Central Time, on the expiration date. Any Reward Credits not redeemed within this period will no longer be available for use.
Reward Credits may be applied to redeem opportunities selected and presented in the absolute and sole discretion of Hallmark (“Reward Opportunities”). Normally, one Reward Credit is redeemable for one Reward Opportunity, unless otherwise noted. Reward Opportunities may include, but are not limited to, partner reward offers, additional sweepstakes entries, Hallmark products, Hallmark reward offers or other reward opportunities as offered from time to time. Reward Opportunities may be offered for limited periods of time, have a limited number of redemptions and/or may not be offered to all Card Rewards Members. Members will be bound by the terms presented in connection with a selected Reward Opportunity, which may have limited times of availability, purchase restrictions, expiration dates or other special terms.
Once you have ordered a Reward Opportunity, the order is final and the appropriate number of Rewards Credits will be deducted immediately from your Account. Reward Credits will not be refunded or placed back into a Member’s Account after an order has been placed. Additionally, Reward Opportunities may not be returned, except in limited circumstances as determined in Hallmark’s sole discretion, and Hallmark will not issue Reward Credit refunds or reissue Reward Credits.
Reward Credits can be redeemed only for Reward Opportunities offered by Hallmark through the Card Rewards program based on these terms and conditions and any additional terms set forth by Hallmark in connection with the program. Hallmark makes no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, including implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and implied warranties arising from course of dealing with respect to any Reward Opportunities obtained through the Card Rewards Program. Reward Credits and Reward Opportunities have no cash value and cannot be sold, reproduced or redeemed for cash.
Hallmark may suspend or terminate the participation of any Member or any account if, in its sole and absolute discretion, Hallmark determines that the account has been used to report cards, earn Reward Credits, or redeem or use Reward Opportunities in violation of these terms or other requirements set forth by Hallmark. Hallmark shall have no liability for any suspension or termination and shall not be required to make any previously earned Reward Credits eligible for redemption and may revoke the validity of any previously redeemed Reward Opportunity.
Despite our best efforts to assure accuracy, Hallmark may, from time to time, correct any errors found in reporting or Reward Credit computations and may correct such errors at any time.
You agree to hold Hallmark and any agency partners associated with the Card Rewards Program harmless if the supplier of a Reward Opportunity fails to meet its contractual obligations with respect to a Reward Opportunity.
